Refund Policy

Scope

Most of our site content is free. From time to time, we may offer paid items such as digital guides, memberships, or consulting sessions (“Products/Services”). This policy explains when refunds are available, how to request one, and timelines.

Digital products (downloads, e‑books, guides)

• Immediate access: If you choose immediate download/streaming at checkout, you acknowledge and consent that your statutory 14‑day cooling‑off right may be waived once the download/stream begins (as permitted by UK consumer law).
• If you have not downloaded: You may request a refund within 14 days of purchase provided you have not accessed or downloaded the content.
• Defects: If a file is defective or inaccessible, we will replace it or refund you after verification.

Memberships and subscriptions

• Cancellation: You can cancel anytime to stop the next billing cycle. Access continues until the end of the current paid period.
• Refunds: We generally do not offer pro‑rated refunds for the current billing period after content access has begun, except where required by law or stated otherwise in an offer.

Consulting or 1:1 sessions

• Reschedule: You may reschedule once at least 24 hours before the appointment, subject to availability.
• Cancellations:
  • ≥ 48 hours before: full refund.
  • 24–48 hours before: 50% refund.
  • < 24 hours or no‑show: no refund.

How to request a refund

Email hello@nomadmalaysia.guide with:

• Order ID and purchase email
• Product/Service name
• Reason for the request
• Any relevant screenshots (for digital access issues)

Processing time and method

• Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 5–10 business days (bank times may vary).
• Currency differences and exchange fees are determined by your payment provider.

Chargebacks and disputes

If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us first so we can help resolve it quickly. Unresolved issues may be escalated via your payment provider’s dispute process.

Exceptions

We may decline a refund request if it falls outside these terms or shows abuse. Your statutory rights are not affected.
